Meet the Team Protecting Texas Farms from Feral Hogs

Real hunters. Real farmland. Real results.

Our Mission

Pork Police isn’t just a hunting crew — we’re Texas’s first line of defense against destructive feral hogs. Our guided thermal night hunts protect crops, preserve wildlife habitats, and give hunters a one-of-a-kind adrenaline-packed experience.

How It All Started

What began as a few late-night hunts quickly turned into a mission. After seeing firsthand how feral hogs destroy crops, damage equipment, and push out native wildlife, we built Pork Police to fight back — and to give hunters a chance to experience the thrill of the chase. Today, we cover over 50,000 acres across Texas, tracking hog patterns with weekly camera surveillance and using top-tier thermal gear to get the job done.

  • Todd Olson – Lead Guide at Pork Police Hunting

    Meet Todd

Lead Guide • Tracker • Former Pro Motox Rider

Todd has been hunting for 49 years and guiding for the last 5. After hunting across the U.S. — from the Dakotas to Arizona — he moved to Texas where the hogs run wild and the hunts never stop. He's now guided over 700 successful night hunts and counting.

When you hunt with Todd, you’re in good hands. He’s all business when it comes to safety, walking every hunter through weapon handling, thermal scope use, and expectations before the hunt even begins. But once the hunt starts, he’s laid-back, sharp-eyed, and focused on one thing: putting you on pigs.

Todd uses camera activity and weekly surveillance to track hog patterns across 50,000+ acres. His go-to gear is a DNT thermal scope — for the quality, clarity, and reliability when the heat signatures pop up.

Whether he’s dropping hogs from the buggy or getting rag-dolled by a boar (yes, it happened), Todd keeps it exciting, efficient, and safe. Ranchers call him everything from a cowboy to a gang banger, and he takes it as a compliment.

“Safety is job #1. But once we’re out there, it’s go time.” – Todd

  • Tucker Olson – Hunting Guide & Media Director | Pork Police

    Meet Tucker

Guide • Brand Manager • Media & Gear Specialist

Tucker has been hunting hogs since he was 4 years old — over 15 years of experience tracking, stalking, and stopping pigs in their tracks. As a guide, he wears multiple hats: leading hunts, managing the Pork Police brand, and capturing the footage that tells the story of every night in the field.

His guiding style is safe, effective, and fair — making sure everyone gets an equal opportunity to take a shot and is always in the right place at the right time. Tucker uses the exact same gear as clients on hunts, believing it’s the best setup for success. He scouts by running cameras and tracking crop plant/cut seasons, and his number one tip for hunters? Skip the scents — no soap, no deodorant — hogs have big noses for a reason.

He’s seen it all, from a 35-year-old first-time hunter from Thailand dropping 4 hogs in one night, to chaotic moments like getting pinned between pigs and the buggy with no safe shot. Through it all, Tucker’s focus is on giving hunters a one-of-a-kind, non-blind, always-moving hunt they won’t get anywhere else.

“We don’t hunt from blinds. Every field, every group of hogs — it’s a whole new game.” – Tucker

  • Shon – Veteran Hog Hunting Guide in Texas | Pork Police

    Meet Shon

Guide • Spot-and-Stalk Specialist • “John Wick” of Hog Hunting

Shon has been hunting for 45 years, starting at just 10 years old chasing ducks, rabbits, squirrels, and quail. After years of running with Todd and stacking up pigs, the hunts drew so much interest that people started asking to join — and the guiding side of Pork Police was born. He’s now guided well over 600 hunts.

Spot-and-stalk is his preferred style — no sitting and waiting. Safety comes first, but once the hunt starts, Shon is all about getting clients on pigs and keeping the action moving. He starts every hunt with a safety briefing and expectations, then runs pre-hunt drills so first-timers are confident before the first shot.

His favorite gear? The side-by-sides. Built to be pushed to the limit, they perform every time no matter the terrain. Shon’s pig-finding strategy mixes crop scouting, bait spots, and cameras — and if the ammo runs out, he’s not afraid to chase them down on foot.

Whether it’s throwing Todd out of a high seat after hitting a ditch or earning nicknames like “Pig Man” and “Pork Chop”, Shon is known for keeping hunts both safe and wildly entertaining.

    “Dead pigs everywhere.” – Shon
