  • You don’t need a hunting license to join us on a Pork Police thermal hog hunt. Since feral hogs are classified as invasive pests in Texas, they can be hunted year-round without a license. We provide all the gear, firearms, and guidance you need—just show up ready for the adventure.

  • Yes — you’re welcome to keep meat, but it cuts into hunting time. We have to stop right after the kill to clean, bag, and ice it so it doesn’t spoil in the heat. Only small pigs are worth keeping — big boars taste awful.

    We’ll cut backstraps for free, and it’s $25 per shoulder, bagged and iced on the spot.

  • Important Rules – Please Read Carefully
    ⚠ Breaking any rule below may result in being turned away without a refund.

    Pants required – No shorts allowed.
    Boots required – No sandals or sneakers.

    Language requirement – A basic understanding of English is required.
    (Broken English is okay, but you must be able to understand the safety briefing.)

    Firearms policy – Do not handle any firearms (including handguns) until after the in-person safety briefing.

    Minors (under 18) – If a minor is hunting, a parent or guardian must notify the guide in advance by call, text, or email.

  • No Alcohol
    For everyone’s safety, alcohol is not allowed before or during the hunt. If you arrive under the influence, you will not be permitted to participate and no refund will be issued. We take safety seriously — firearms and alcohol do not mix.

  • Cancellation Policy
    7+ days’ notice = full deposit refund.
    Less than 7 days = deposit forfeited.
    Reschedules follow same 7-day rule and depend on availability.

    Weather Policy
    Unsafe weather = we reschedule.
    No hunts after heavy rains.
    Out-of-state hunters: consider travel insurance.

    Payment Terms
    Deposit secures your hunt.
    Balance due on hunt day.
    Deposit applies to total price.

Just want to take this time to write a review of pork police. This is the 2nd time we have hunted with them. Despite the high winds we encountered for the hunt Todd and his crew worked their butt off to get and keep us on hogs. From start (inital planning) to finish it was a great time. Myself as well as my son (aka earhole earl) had a great time and plans are already being made to return next year for another hunt.

“If your looking for a top notch guided thermal hunt look no further ! If your a beginner or a seasoned hunter you will definitely enjoy this experience. Todd is an excellent guide that makes you extremely safe and comfortable. Todd is very knowledgeable about the areas we hunt, an excellent communicator and most of all he is gonna put you on pigs all night long ! Same price as a night out on the town but a much better way to spend it, and you can take home some fresh meat for some delicious eating later. Stop clicking around and book here!”
